Someone adopt this beautiful snowflake Moray

Anyone in the New York City/Long Island area that would like to adopt this beautiful 14" Snowflake moray, write to me and let me know. I rescued him from an abandoned tank last week, he's in perfect health, but he's freaking out my wife

I tried getting rid of the wife, but she seems immune to high nitrate levels! The problem IS the 'snake' factor, she gets chills every time she sees it. Besides, if I give in, I can then go to the ever popular "Well, now I can buy --insert expensive fish here-- since you made me get rid of the eel..."

Yeah, I'm pretty far away for that offer. Nice eel though. However, it's not a snowflake eel. Or at least not a common one. But as luck would have it, I can't remember its name.

that is not a snowflake eel. It is a chainlink eel. Similar in aggression and size, but snowflakes get a little bigger, but chainlink are a tad bit more aggressive. They are both nice eels though. I have a chainlink and a snowflake together in the same tank. They hang out together, really cool!

yeah, it looks like a chainlink to me. does he have a bottom jaw deformaty? its a great looking eel, wish i could take him? is he eating ok and everything?

He does have a dislocated jaw, but you wouldn't know it from the way he rips krill off my feeding skewer. Thanks for the ID, I'll call him a Chanlink from now on

your wife is freaking because the eel is swimming a lot. Place a long PVC pipe in your tank so the eel can hide.
