I accidently had some salt pour onto my anenome and it went into a ball but it is still moving a little bit. I called the store I bought it from and they told me I stressed it out. It now has a bubble on it and I'm afraid it is going to die. Does anyone know anything about this? Please help!!

I'm pretty sure your point of view has been taken. Now please let someone who knows how to help out answer.
Sorry Ibd007, I wish I could advise you on this, but I really don't have any experience with anenomes. Hopefully someone will sign into this thread and give you some credible advice.
Good luck.

Probably not a whole lot you can do for it. Watch for deteriation.
Salt should always be mixed with ro/di water (areated for 24 hrs. and heated)and THEN put in the tank.

I have done this a time or two myself to some mushrooms. They sure don't like it. But take a turkey baster (clean and for the tank only) and gently blow some of the tank water over it to remove as much salt as you can.
It will pout for a day or two but hopefully it will perk back up.
This has worked for me.....

Make sure to always dissolve your salt well before adding it to the tank and when pouring the water into the tank pick a spot that you don't have any corals there so incase any salt that did not dissolve comes out it will not land on them.
Another thing I always do it turn my filters on when I am refilling and pour right into the filter stream and it mixes the water really well.
Good luck and keep us posted.

it should be ok, but check it OFTEN for deterioration like was mentioned above, Also dont be afraid to put on a plastic glove and bring it to the surface and smell it. If it starts to fall apart or starts to smell like deadfish, get it out of your tank asap.
What kind of Anenome is it? some are very durable, some delicate as heck.
Keep up posted, if it is going to go south, then it should go pretty quick. If it stays shrunken in for a day or two, its ok as long as it does not have any open wounds or smell bad. hope this helps

if you dont have a baster you might be able to put it in the flow of your returns for a bit and blow it clean
