Hello everyone,
I'm the new kid on the block so go easy. Can anyone help me identify this little guy. I bought him about a week ago from a small aquarium store that I never visit and they said it was a Squirrel fish. I initially thought it was too but, looking at some Internet pics of juvenile and adult Squirrel fish, it's looks nothing like them. He's a little over 3 inches, always flared up and will only eat small chunks of shrimp. Could he be venomous ?
What do you guys think ? See listed links;

I got him at a local aquarium shop in Ft. Lauderdale. The owner said it's been in the store for weeks and that no one seem to like him. I think he's cool looking and he gets along great with his other tank mates.

I would highly recommend to get some live rock in there. There isn't a place for that eel to hide or feel secure. And it would look a lot better than the fake coral you got in there right now.
