is it a HOB skimmer? just hang it on the back of the tank where it will be easily accesible but not in the way.

I looked at the box today at a LFS and the diagram on the back showed it going into Chamber #1...the one on the right as you are looking at the tank.

ok i dont have a pic right now but what you want to do is put it in the 1st chamber on the very right. and it will have a clip so clip it on the left wall of the far right chamber. your going to have to take out the filter media tho. and once its all set up adjust the air valve so the bubbles are right above the black lip.

Why did you take the top off and take the bioballs out? Is this something i should do? If so how do i do it? btw, thanks for helping me with this guys!

theres two ways. take all the bioballs out and put live rock rubble in the back. or you could take all the bioballs out and put live rock and cheato algae in there. but if you do the cheato you need to get a little clip on light for the cheato. and the reason ppl take out the bioballs is cause the bioballs just add more nitrates

I am guessing you have the algea in the back? So if i just take out the bio-balls and set mine up like yours(except no algea, but with the live rock) it will be fine and do the same thing the bio-balls are doing?

yep. but I would take the bioballs out slowly so you dont cause a spike. so take a few out today and take a few out in a few days and so on. and then just add lr rubble. and if you want you could take the screen out on the bottom and add a deep sand bed in the back. that will help with nitrates to.

Actually there are many ways you can refigure the back of your tank. The bio balls are said to be nitrate traps however poorly kept LR rubble can trap the same thing as the bio balls do. It all comes down to proper tank maintenance IMO. I changed them out but not for long, I decided that nothing in the rear chambers was best. So aside from a sponge and the skimmer there is no biological filtration in the rear of my tank. I let my LR in the DT area be my filter....
