something new coming out???????

i've noticed in my tank for the past week, a pile of poop (don't know that else it can be) mixed in wth sediment is piling up in front of one of my rocks. will try to get a picture of it. it's been piling up and now it is about 3/4 inch high. one bristleworm made its home around there but never saw this when it was somewhere else in the tank. whatever it is, it has not shown its face yet. any guesses?
also, there is a pile of sand next to the glass (no poop). it looks like something is making a mound against my glass. i think one of my bristleworms burrows there. is this normal behavior for these worms?
any guesses on this too?????

The pile of crap is probably a water circulation problem. If you have a dead spot in front of the rock, it will all gather there. Try repositioning a PH and see if it continues.
I wouldn't worry about the mound of sand. It is most likely the sea life making a home.

don't think its the water circulation but will try it. this is no more than a curiostiy. look stoo neatly placed for water current. the poop looks like a comb over.
