I just found something strange underneath my live rock. It is like a feather duster and there is more than one. When a fish swims by it ....it goes away. Then returns seconds later. Any ideas?
could be aptasia. My aptasia retracted when a fish or my hand went near it.
Try and get a picture if you can. That will allow us to identify it better.
