Something Wrong!?!?

why did my tank cycle so fast? i mean last week the ammonia was at 2.00!!! and this week everything is at zero?! what's gunna happen did i do something wrong? will they spike up randomly? or did i do something right? or am i gunna die? :help:

nvm my nitrite is high, but my ammonia and nitrates are at zero..and i just checked and wtf it's been like 3 days

Well, if your nitrites are spiking while nitrates are still zero, then I would speculate that you're not done cycling, but in the midst of stage two of a cycle. Stage three would be a decrease (To zero) of nitrites and a increase in nitrates.

Well, true... BUT... for most tanks nitrate will never =0.

No, If your ammonia spiked and is now comming down and your nitrite is now a little high, you are still cycling. Do you have fish in there?

unless you're waiting on a tax return, you could put in fish earlier than february. just go slow. don't add all three fish at the same time.
