speaking from my upgrade in tanks over the years I would say, starting from scratch is fun, but in the end we all we want is a nice tank, that we built.
so if I had to do it over I would of got someone eles setup and just switch everything around the way it should be and would of saved me money
and that extra money could easily fund the inside of the tank, I have a LFS so they would take anything in the tank I didnt want
, and give me store credit for fish corals I did want.
And in closing I would say money talks so when u go to buy this stuff only show them 75% of what they want for it
They will see that much money and start to cave for the money.( just like when u buy a car from a person)
