so why wasn't his guardian angel sitting beside him? because she was having trouble parallel parking. why couldn't she parallel park? because she couldn't see good over her right shoulder, her blind spot. and Tony wasn't looking over his right shoulder (his blind spot). and that's where the shot would've come from.
also, the car Phil Leotardo got out of just before he was killed was a Ford Expedition. they even took time to do a closeup of the Ford emblem on the front of the car. when Meadow finally gets parked, she runs across the street and is narrowly missed getting run over by a Ford Expedition. almost as if Phil, from the grave, was trying to kill Tony's guardian angel so Tony wouldn't be protected. he missed, but Meadow was still too late.
when Tony selects the Journey song on the table jukebox, the number of the song is "K3". in baseball terms, "K3" would be "strike 3". as in "strike 3, you're out." Jr's fist attempt on Tony's life....strike 1. Jr shoots Tony....strike 2. Tony goes into the diner without his guardian angel....strike 3, you're out.
also, it shows a closeup shot of Tony, Carmella, and AJ each popping an onion into their mouths. the didn't bite, they each popped one in whole, like a communion wafer. Tony was finally taking communion for his sins and was ready to go.

#1 those are explorers becasue i own one, BUT i wonder do you think CHASE is REALLY REALLY THAT DEEP? If that was the case then it was probably the most brilliant ending I have ever seen, because it involves things you need to put together to come to these conclusions from years ago.
