i finally got a good picture of a crab that came in with my lr and something else that also hitchiked on it. The crab has been in there since the beginning and I have only seen it when i feed the fish or when i really look for it, it never leaves that one rock.
I as told bad crabs have black claws and that ones doesn't..thats my only knowledge of crabs..if it is eating fish food it isn't an algae eater, if it gets big it MAY go for some smaller fish.
Any crab is opportunistic... even the supposed Mithrax that I caught stealing food from my corals. The claws of that guy doesn't look like a mitrax. I would personally remove him.... he looks like he'll be a problem in the future.
