I was just wondering if any watchesr this or allows there kids to watch it. Now obviously if your kids were 11...12 years old I wouldnt expect you to, but if they were 15+...
But ive been thinking about this lately, and I understand why so many people would get affended by this show, because they make fun of religions, races, political figures, many different culters.
But that is the one thing I really respect about the show, is they dont just stop with one particular thing. They make fun of everything, everyone, or nothing.
I watch it every now and then, because I dont think theres anything I could watch at my age that is innapropriate, except...you know....bad stuff, lol.
But I think my mom overreacts, she has kindof given up trying to stop me from watching it.

exactly, and they follow by that, they dont exclude anyone when they make fun of people.
I would want younger kids to be watching because 3rd grade kids swearing is leaving a really bad message.
But if someone gets offended by this show and not because of the swearing...I just think those people need to be a little more open minded.
I am catholic and there was an episode about preist being upset because they could no longer molest young children, I just laughed it off, and when they made fun of a different religion, it was even funnier.

i personally love south park.... and im not offended because #1 im pretty thick skinned and #2 i am non denominational...

I used to not like it, until i actually watched it, one of my favorite shows.
There are a couple of pretty stupid episodes, but for the most part.
Sheer brilliance.
My two favorite episodes are world of warcraft, and the dog whisperer.
MY son is 16 and he watches it, My 13 year old daughter might watch an episode here or there. The fact of the matter is that there is so much honesty in the show, and some people dont like the truth.

my parents never saw anything offensive in it, so my brother and i have been watching it almost as long as its been on. (keep in mind i was like 7 and he was about 2 when it first aired.)
and we turned out all right...

honestly though you really cant offend me. and id probably let my kids watch it. not the really crude stuff, so they wouldnt be repeating it at school or whatever, but you know.
some people cant handle the show because they arent prepared to question their beliefs, IMO, and therefore find objecting ideas offensive. now i can understand the language issue, and the sexuality, and i agree that the show is not a babysitter, as long as your watching it with your child, its not as bad as a lot of people would make it out to be.

new years night they played the south park bigger longer and uncut movie uncut. comedy central must have allowed them to use the F bomb 360 times plus cartoon

plus every other swear word. Lol not that im offended, but who does that? 100% uncensored I was completely shocked. I had already seen the movie before when i rented it, but this was cable tv
. Almost as bad as when I heard the F bomb on the radio on christmas day... must of assumed the FCC was sleeping or celebrating christmas.

The fcc is wacked you cant even say the words pee or poop on the radio.
I am suprised that tv is getting away with so much lately.
FYI i thought the southpark movie was bad. To much cussing it ruined it for me. I have a potty mouth to.

I honestly didnt like the movie that much either, but I love the show.
The dog whisperer has to be one of my favorite episodes, and the 'N-word guy' episode I thought was hilarious.

South Park is one of favorites(my fav. episode is Ginger Kids) and so are Trey Parker and Matt Stone's movies. Team America World Police was freakin hillarious!! Also, the FCC must be lightening up on their restrictions because Comedy Central plays totally uncensored movies every weekend, they call it "Secret Stash" it's usually late at night though. Does anyone watch Drawn Together on CC, if you think South Park is bad you should see some of the stuff they get away with on there and Mind of Mencia is pretty crude too, but I love them all, very entertaining stuff!

I used to love South Park but haven't watched it in a while. The show I used to really like was Beavis and Butthead.

im 15 and if i could i would watch south part all day!! ppl are just offended by anything now adays!! i mean its a cartoon!!!!
