Hello all. I would first like to thank you all for helping me kill time at work & add to my knowledge of reef tanks.
I have just set up a 75 gal. with RO/DI water.. took 36 hrs! Two nights ago I added 150lbs. of southdown. (approx. 4") In the process alot of foam was created on the surface of the water? It resembles the foam at the NJ beaches. I always thought it was from NYC's pollution. Should I manually skim the surface of all the foam?
