What is southdown sand?
What section of homedepot would I find it in, if they carry it here?

It is with the outdoor stuff. And you can only get it if you live in the north East.

just be careful with the new southdown. i recently posted regarding there new processing they use. the new bags say not aquarium safe and the old ones, contrary to what someone had posted to me before, do not. i personally went home the other night and fully checked over my old bag of sand and nowhere on it does it say not aquarium safe. the new product goes through the same processing line as all of there other products such as limestine, concrete, etc. which leaves resadue in the newer bags. just be careful.
