i have mh lights 785 watts still in package, no corals as of yet except brown mushrooms, 150 gal. i am in hospital right now doin chemo i will be here till sat. if memory is right it is 27 in. deep as of now i have 2700 gph i am thinking i need to get that up to 3500-4000, i want easy corals to start with, it seems most of the cool looking corals can take-over a tank i don't want thati'm pretty sure i don't want anything over 6-8 in. so i can have more color/variety as my expierience develops any advice?

Im sorry to hear about the chemo...If anyone understands how you feel it is my family and I...my dad has been battling it since 04'- he's actually at duke getting his treatments right now....But this is a great way to get your mind off things- good choice! As for the corals, you might want to try some ricordias..they are very colorful and I have found them to be a good started coral. Green star polyps are also great too! Your lighting is by far sufficient..it isnt an issue. Once you try some softies like mushrooms, gsp like I said, and maybe some type of leather, you could move on to LPS corals if you are having success. I hope this helps!! thanx fishfatty this is my 2nd round with the cancer was in remission for about 3 months long enough to buy a comb (that was a good investment
)no i,m doin just fine i have a good woman taking very good care of me and a strong positive attitude and god tries us but not with something we can't handle we as people need to know and have faith in this. i only have 1 more chemo to go and i have been putting some of my weight back on not too many people can say that going through chemo i have non-hodgkins lymphoma so as far as cancers go there are alot more people worse than me and my prayers go out to all who's health has been misplaced god bless tobin :happyfish
