I have a question for anyone who has tried to make their own base rock...From what I have read, you need portland type 3 cement. I have never heard of the stuff. I asked my father, who owns two construction companies, and he has never heard of the stuff. Is this the same as Spec mix? Spec mix is portland cement mixed with lime. Should I use this stuff to make it? Any reply is appreciated.
