special requirements for a lionfish

i am planning to add a volitan to my tank very soon. i was wondering if anyone could tell me if there is anything special i should know about them as far as water temperatures ,nitrate sensitivity, etc. my tank is occupied by triggers and eels and tends to be a little high in the nitrate area due to all the shredded food that goes through there. thank you.

We eventually got rid of the eel because it kept attacking the lion. Nipped his finds down to nothing. Poor thing. We almost lost him. He got so stressed out he developed ich, cloudy eyes, not eating for 2 weeks. The eel and lion did great in the tank for years, then BAM! The eel went psycho.
Other than that, the lion eats 2 frozen VHP cubes (whole) every 3 days.
