Speeding up cycle process?

WOuld it be possible to speed the cycling process by adding cured lr and ls from an already established tank?

You might not even have a cycle. :D
Unless you're adding this to a tank with new LR and sand. If so, it won't speed up the cycle.

Well i have dry sand it right now so i know for sure i will get some sort or cycle. Then i want to put some lr from an established tank into it and some ls as well. Then little by little I want to add lr from the lfs or something after curing it.

Right now theres nothing in the tank but dry sand. Im going to add fresh salt water later on today then maybe sometime this week ill add some lr and ls.

That's a plan and one I used. You can also throw in a grocery store shrimp. That will really help kick start the nitrogen cycle by getting your ammonia up. If you do use a shrimp, I'd take it out after 3-4 days and you see a good ammonia spike. Good luck with the tank.
