what is the best way to spike a watermelon?

cut a plug out of the top pour in everclear or vodka stick plug back in , place in fridge serve at party

yep, just cut a hole, turn the bottle up side down into the hole and the watermelon will suck up every last drop....

Just as the above posts say, cut out a plug and pour in the goodies.

Personally I would start weak, that way you can fix it as you go. if you make it to strong, you can't get rid of it.

3 questions: Just by opening the top the MELON WILL soak it up? Im thinking displacement!
#2 How do you serve this? do you open it and cut it? or what? #3 How long does it take for the melon to soak up the alcohol or does it get really messy? IM gonna try it next party!

it will soak up and i would let it simmer overnight messy of course it's watermelon being eaten by drunks cut while sober...tobin

i made him log out for this ...this is my area ...after it sits with the plug in the fridge all night cut the very top off of it longways then use a potato masher and mash the guts all up and ladel out over ice drink with straws so you don't choke on the seeds ...for a variation use strawberry dacquiri(sp)
mix in the vodka

You cut out a plug, put the tip of the bottle in and pour it. Put the plug back on, put it in the fridge for 24 hours. Cut it up and serve.
