Spirulina Recipe

Does anyone have a recipe for making this kind of food for a foxface? I can buy it but have wanted to try a DIY goodie and this sounded like a good start. I know he needs veggies but I'm under the impression they don't mean adding lettuce to the tank!

cant help with recepie but why not add lettuce? i grow romaine and spinach for my yellow tang and he loves it, in addition to his usual nori sheets and spirulina pellets. varity is the spice of life !

Seriously? He'd eat lettuce and spinach leaves? Do you just put them in for 24 hours and then change them out? I'll run and get him some today!

yes they will eat it but its not good for them the best rule for foods is if it grows in the ocean its fine if it grows on the land forget it. its not as nutritional as sea stuffs.
you can take nori *unseasoned and raw from a oriental market*
shrimp
squid
clam
octo
crab
garlic
and some flake foods
and vitamin like zelcon
mis in a clean unused food processor and freeze after wards.
there are many different recipes that you can use do a search for DIY food and it should bring some of them up.
