splitting anenome?

hey my friend has had a anenome for about 2 wks now and las night we were looking at it then about 10 mins later we looked again and there were 2 anenomes in there you could even see the spot where they split and they both had half a mouth to and they both ate frozen brine shrimp...so heres my question.Do anenomes split off like this? Is this how they reproduce? what does this mean? thanks

Anemones do split to reproduce, but 10 minutes is awful quick.

hi, im php's friend. yeah it took about a day when i noticed it slit in half. thanks for your information. both halves are prospering and my clown goes in both pieces. thanx.
