For instance the ever popular and incredible Steelers are one of the teams whose name end in S.
Add Tampa Lightning, Colorado Avalanche...How about Calgary Stampede from the CFL?

I was at the game yesterday when the "incredible Steelers" lost to the "not so incredible Arizona Cardinals"...All the Steeler fans where rather cocky and vocal before the game... Not so much afterwords.
Can anyone name the 4 NCAA Division 1 football programs that do not have "University" in their name?

I know there are NBA games on Christmas. Could one be 9/11?

Ru finishes off my question.
Kj, now you know the joy of being a Steeler fan. Not knowing which team will show up, the unstoppable team or the team that could not beat Notre Dame.
Ryno, I think January 1 is one of the days, not sure of the other. I know NASCAR does not run on Easter or Mother's day. Them southern boys do love their God and their Mammas.

Day before the baseball all star game, and the day after.

To the earlier question, there are no major sports playing today too.
Anyone got an answer to my golf question?...No interest?

Yeah, its Tiger, trick question sort of, most people think of him as African American, but he is half Thai, part African American, and a little native American from his dads side....Vijay is considered Pacific Islander.

Lol, I was going to say Tiger just to be a smartass. I don't pay attention to golf, and he's one of the few names I recognize.
