Spoted Blue Puffer and Snails?

So do these two not go good together? i notice that my puffer (i just got) keeps going up to them and poking them??? will he eat them? the fishstore said they will eat shrimp and stuff so just seeing thanks!

mine ate the snails... but can't get the hermits... it all depends on the puffer and how he be kid!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

All depends on the puffer. Most do eat them, but some will not.

so here is a question about the snails then... if they die? do i need to take them out??? its hard to tell if a snail is dead of alive?!?! but if i think its dead and doesnt move for a day should i take them out? will they harm my tank?

i doubt one dead snail will harm ur tank, the hermits would prob take care of that
