Those are AWESOME! Keep up the good work. I want to go to that place. I went to a ton of aquariums over SB but don't have a very good digital camera, so I don't have any pics to share.
Those were great!!!!! Thank you! I'm in awe of marine museums - especially considering what I have learned about keeping a tank of my own. I noticed a couple of those tanks had a substrate that looked almost like river rock pebbles - why not sand?
some of them had rocks- they change those displays so much that sand could be a problem in cloudiness- on the permanant displays they had sand- glad you like the pics
Great pics, my spring break was spent working . Any way , I was wondering if you knew what the polyps in pic # 2 were called. I found two polyps very similar in my tank earlier this week. I want to make sure they are taken care of properly. Thanks,
Tiff
Awesome pics my school started our spring break a week after the real spring break but at least I'll have all this week to work on my 75 Gallon I'm getting tommorow.

My best guess on #2 is Pseudcorynactis sp. I found a picture last night in one of my books. It doesn't say anything about how to take care of it though. The author lumps it together with mushrooms if that helps you any.

I doubt I ever went near an aquarium, museum or anything even closely resembling an educational venue!
