sps and lighting????

i have a Pink/Peach Monti Digi and a Purple tip tan polyps monti digi i just got. Are they suppost to shed their color like skin to white or are they dieing. Since i never had this type of coral before?

How close are they to the light? You could try moving them closer, but even still, PCs just aren't powerful enough to keep most sps, sorry.

At the very top of my rock work. I just moved them up. Its about 9 inch to light to coral. SO these types of SPS will die in this type of lighting?

I know of people who have been able to keep caps under PC (not the greatest coloration though), but think digitatas require more light than caps. What is your alkalinity at?
