SPS and my new setup

I currently have a 250w MH over my 37g tank with some monti caps in it. I also have a 36" coralife aqualight pro with 150w mh and 39w x 2 acintics laying around. Will it be ok for my SPS to go in a 40g breeder with that light?

unfortunately no. The 250 is 30" and the auqualight pro is 36"

I would think that a 150 over a 40 breeder would be fine. That tank is only 16" deep. The one thing that you might have to watch out for is light coverage on the ends of the tanks. I think it should work if your sps are towards the center of the tank though.

yeah the sps will have to stay in the middle, unless a brace creates a shadow. otherwise 150w should be fine.
