SPS??? Birdsnest

I have had a Birdsnest for a while now and yesterday it looked good but this morning before lights on I can see a spot where the tissue is missing. Could something in my tank have done this. The spot is about 3/8" by 1/2".

No answer so I justed fragged the branch with the receeding tissue. Hope things work out.

Can you get us an image of the bleaching? Can you give us some more information about the tank? How long have you had the tank? How long have you had the coral? Filtration? Other inhabitants?

No pic already fragged it off. Tank has been running for 17 months. Coral two months in tank. Filtration DSB, Skimmer, 35lbs LR. Other tank critters Xenia, hammer, bubble, two Monti Digita, orange monti cap, green monti cap, small acro frag and catspaw frag, misc. rics and mushrooms, yellow polyps, RBTA, 5 chromis and 1 perc, 25-30 snails, 5 or 6 hemits, two serp star, cleaner shrimp, pompom crab.
