I got this back in the move of the store. Is this a type of encursting monitpora? Any comments?

The one I havehad is the same but its not really what I would call a encrusting coral. When I took my tank down (13 months ago) I was lucky enough to have a buddy hold all my corals for me. The Hispidia was just a small frag then. I just didn't have the heart to take the coral back when I started up my new tank.

I have recently moved to the area and I am setting up my tanks as we speak.
Curious as to which shops if any you use in the area, decent dive sites, etc.
I am out on the island, still burned from the Prot A sand sculpture contest...the TX sand is a bit different to work with. The June contest in Corpus will be fun.
Anyway, have a good one.

So I guess it is a branching type? Reason I said encrusting is because it looks like a plate type. Flat and now branches.
Thanks for everyones comments.
