SPS: Some Eyecandy!
lol i did copy wax on this but i did love how presented his thread so i thought some might like to see my small but growith population of sps. I have new additions recently photographed.
tank
55 gallon tank
flow
25X turnover rate for the tank not inclusing filter. mostly maxi 1200
lighting
coralife mh/pc setup: 2 150watt mh double ended and 2 96watt pc actinics
Filters
penquin 330 but soon to get a aqua c remora in a couple weeks
live filters
65 pounds lr 70 pounds ls (3" sandbed) various sponge and featherduster growth.
fish
none at the moment to keep down the nitrates as my filter is not a skimmer. I plan to get fish as i et the skimmer.
inverts
blue spotted long spined urchin, varios hermits, nass. and turbo snails, and a crocea clam.
corals
acropora cluster collony, green slimer frag, pocilliapora frags, unknown new collonies captive grown, and collony of porites.
my tank is almost 4 months old and im getting good growth out of my sps even though my tyank is yet to be mature. I test often so lvls are stable and the only thing i add is b-ionic. i did the rockwork in my tank myself.
plz let me hear your response to my work.....here is a full tank shot.

the reason for this is the way i made my tank is that the coral is just under the mh and the flow is best there. this was made as the ideal place for sps. the other space below the mh is not as high up in the tank and flow is not as high in flow either. That spot is just perfect so they are grouped there.
