goodlighting, how many mhs u gunna use and what watts? good flow, lots and lots of flow, and excelent water quality. some are easy; digi, caps, and a few others but if u want hard core u need pretty much perfect water quality. also they need calcium and alk. u can manual dose but with a tank that big get a cal reactor or a dosing system. i manualy dose mine cause its only a 90g

lighting and good water parameters r important. sps corals need water stability. aquacultured sps corals r hardier.

a calcium reactor is a unit that replenishes calcium automatically. whereas dosing is manually done by the hobbyist.

i use b-ionic its a 2 part but its 25ml a day of each with a tank that big go with a ca reactor, i think it wil be cheaper in the long run

replace the tank? the reactor is just a little hob unit or one that stays in the sump. u need to be put media inside to maintain the calcium level.

Personally, I honestly can't understand or justify the expense of a Ca reactor. I just dose a little Seachem Reef Complete when I do water changes. An $8 bottle lasts me months. I keep all kinds of SPS and I have 3 clams, including a huge Derasa.
But, to each their own.
