i noticed in your other thread you said you had a 175w 20k xm...you have told me to get these for color in my other thread..i want to but i am hesitant because i am not sure if they look to blue or not........do you have any pictures or thoughts on the appeal of this bulb?
i have 2X 175w with 14k now and 3X 18w super actinic

the first moth these bulbs are BLUE.. there is no denying that fact.. however after a month of burn in it has a nice crisp white/ hint of blue look to it.. no supplementaion is needed with these bulbs.
let me dig you up a pic.. i think i got one somewhere.. but like i said at first they are BLUE!

yea they are pretty blue..i kight go with a 14k bulb next.....also i was thinking about adding a 250w 20k XM in the middle of the tank but i am not quite sure yet
