Squid ~Pump Question

leaning more toward the mag 24 now. It does use a bit more wattage it appears than two mag 12's. But the flow will be a lot more manageable.

update;
Talked Jeff at lifereef. He sold me an all inclusive package of skimmer, fuge, sump, and two pumps. I am going with a mag12 for the skimmer and a little giant 4 for the return. He is doing all the plumbing related to the above items. It will be a 40x13x14 26 gallon sump and a 20x20x20 fuge. He is setting up the overflow from the fuge to the sump for me. Pretty sure that will solve my fuge sump issues. Now to figure out the CL plumbing and the lights.

Not a bad deal...matched system, external pump on sump and a decent sized fuge..
Are you/he going to run a manifold and split return???

what is a manifold and what is a split return. He is running the returns one to each side of the sump with the skimmer in one side and the return in the middle. So if that is a split return..yes. Don't know what a manifold is.
edit..i should say he is setting it up so a return goes to each side. I will actually have to run the plumbing. You get the idea.

it looks like your talking about the CL system? I still plan on running a mag 4 way if that is what you mean so my CL return pipes will be coming from that.
