staghorn hermit crabs

has anyone every had one of these before? i really like the look of it and that its and herbivore. i was just wondering before i get one if anyone had any problems with one of these. here is a link to a picture and info on them so people can see if they have had one since its called a few different names.

My local fish store sells them for $30. I have never bought them but they say they are completely reef safe. I didnt fel like spending $30 on a little bitty crab. Then next time I went into the store I noticed a lot of empty "shells". I am not too sure how hardy they are. Sorry I couldnt be of better help.

I have one, they are very interesting, no problems at all, they are very solitary. They stay on the bottom.

An LFS I know used them to rid his tank of Bubble Algae (Valonia).
Although, after the experience I'va had with hermits eating my snails for their shells, I decided not to get one.
