Well, heres some perspective for ya, I did a little test, not particularly accurate but hey, well, i took a razor that was stamped "Food Grade" and then another that was not stamped, both are the same size, and both are technically stainless steel, the Food grade was only slightly pitted after a week in saltwater,and the other was completely rusted, and even partially dissolved

Come on kids lets play nice stainless steel comes in two grades what the consumer gets are 308 and 318 (sorry but I installed nuclear power plants for a living I know this s—t ) both would be fine as long as its under water stainless needs air to pit if you are getting a spray go with 318 it should be stamped on your clamp
