As a hobby I make stands and canopies. After seeing what stores charge for particle board crap I just hate to see people spend hundreds on flimsy pieces of junk. I live right in the middle of California ( around fresno ). The basic ones that I build are made of biurch and pine. The canopies have a lifting top and a door in the front. I have made up to a 72-24-32 inch tall stand and the majority of the canopied are about 10 inches tall.

All measurments are rough since tanks are different sizes but here are some examples. I will stain for $25.00 but do not paint solid colors.
48-13-32 high with 10 inch canopy $175.00
48-18-32 high with 10 inch canopy $250.00
72-18-32 high with 10 inch 2 door canopy $$300.00
Here is a picture of a 90 gallon and is an example of what the basic one looks like. I also make them out of Oak but they cost alot more because of materials. I do not own a buisness and just enjoy this as a hobby. :happy:
