I'm the last one to go to for building/carpentry, especially of aquarium stands...
But, I always thought that pretty big cabinet handles would look nice as door handles to the stand.
Are you putting any molding on the stand (sorry if you already stated this somewhere)?

I believe he is going to use a router to do all of his detail work on this stand. Trim work isn't completely necessary when you have the proper router bits, unless you are trying to do something really fancy and don't have the time to actually do the artwork.

Yup, I'm using a router on this one. With the 75 stand I'll use trim. That'll be the "fancy" stand.
First I need to do the wood work in the basement so it all matches.
