Stand for AGA 210

I am in the process of setting an AGA 210 with its stock stand. I stripped it down and re-stained it to match my furniture and then I started thinking...
Is that stand strong enough?
If the stand is built by All-Glass for their tank, it should be fine, right?

Is AGA selling a stand for their 210 now...?
A year ago when I bought mine the biggest "stand" they had was for the 180 (same foootprint) but they wouldn't guarrentee it'd hold the extra 300+ lbs...???
I built my own...

Hey Squidd,
I called them up and they said the 210 fits on the 180 stand without a problem.
I think I am going to reinforce it anyway. I guess just some 2X4's in the corners and in the middle would be sufficient for the extra weight, no?

Did you get that from the LFS or from AGA....
That's the same "arguement" I used when I wanted their stand.."It's 24"x72" should "'fit"...
But they were concerned with the extra weight of the 210 tank and water...
If the LFS is selling you a 180 stand for your 210...I'd reinforce it...
If they're sellling you a "new/redesigned" 210 stand...I'd stilll reinforce it... But that's just me...

I called All Glass, but I will still re-inforce it

I re-inforced mine with 2x4's. It was worth easing my mind as the back supports were damn thin imo. Mine is oceanic though.
