Standard ammo, Nitrxte, ph levels for cycling tank?

My 20 high is cycling right now and i need to know some standard levels during the cycle, like week one two three and four and such.
Yesterday my nitrite was at .5 ppm, now it's at 5.0 ppm! I noticed my ammonia dropped, from 1.0 to .75, but is the change in nitrite too drastic?
I need a lot of opinions of what to look for if my cycle is going right.

I don't think there are such standard. But, Your tank is doing OK IMO. Next you will see Ammonia drop to 0, Nitrite will go up then drop to 0, and Nitrate will go up.
When Ammonia and Nitrite are 0, and Nitrate is down to around 20, then the cycle is over.

Your cycle is ultimately over when you see 0 nitrites and 0 ammonia. This is because these two things turn into nitrates. It is possible that you may not be able to get your nitrates down to 20 or less right away, but don't worry, some people cannot. It all depends on your equipment, the water you are using (tap or RO), and how much rock you have in the tank to absorb nitrates. If you are not doing a reef, the 20 nitrates or less is not as important. If you are doing a FOWLR, nitrate levels are tolerable up to about 25 or 30. Keep testing your tank levels until your ammonia and nitrites are at 0, and your nitrates have come down to at least 30.
Good luck, and be patient! Patience will save you a lot of money and fish!!
