Triggerfish are a primary predator of seastars and I would not generally recommend it. If you do, definitely don't try a chocolate chip, red african, general or Bahama, none of which are reef safe. But unless you have a full on reef tank that is very mature (at least 6 months) with at least 100 pounds of LR, then I wouldn't try a reef safe seastar either (they can not be spot fed and rely on healthy LR and lots of it). Brittlestars are an option, but I think they are at great risk, IMO. Personally, I would not have the triggers in there....triggers tend not to eat corals, but prefer seastars, worms, crustaceans, etc.
