star polyps still wont open

A few days ago i started a thread because my star polyps were not opening. Some said give it a few days. Well its been about five days and they still havent opened. only a few of the smaller polyps have opened. The weird thing is everything else is opening fine. What could be wrong!!!! I have no clue what is wrong...please help!

these are in a 5 gal tank? Not to knocking your abilities. If your are indeed the "DiscusKing" and can keep them healthy and alive then I would think you could keep SP. I just wonder about the water quality in a 5 gal tank.
FWIW, When I kept SP they would sometimes fade away for a week or more.

it took my star polyps almost a month to open.

really? Thats crazy dak. A few polps are opening but only small ones hopefully they will all open soon

i know! i purchased mine at my lfs & after 2 weeks i took them back along w/sample of water. the lfs kept them for me & i picked them up again after about a week & 1/2 & put them back in my tank & after about 3-4 days they all opened & have opened every day since when lights come on. i don't have an answer for you as to why they took so long.

I;ve seen em take a month in some systems.
Just scrubed and steamed some off a rock in my own tank
