Starfire glass

Is star fire glass all that much better than standard glass?
Pros & cons?

If its what I think it is, its also called sapphire glass, which is glass with a much lower iron content. Cuts down on the green tint, which makes looking through thick panes of it alot easier. Don't know anything about its strength or expense though.

Thanks. I guess the correct spelling will make it easier to find more information. I guess thats why I could'nt find any info.

Do a search on Starphire on Google. You'll get plenty of info. I would love a Starphire tank, or at least the front pane. it's quite a bit more money though.
It's as clear as Acrylic with the scratch resistance of glass.
