I wondering if any of you reefers had a sargent star. i really like it's "camo" appearance but i dont want it to bother anything in my tank??? if they're not good to put in the tank how about a CC star????????

They should only be trusted in a fish only tank. They will even eat your snails and hermits and not just coral. They are however very hardy and look quite cool. Mine is very active.

I am not familiar with this common name, though I know of a "general star." Maybe lower rank, LOL. I would need a picture to be sure. And selecting a seastar is definitely something you want to completely research!
There is a post on Bahama stars in the fish discussion I believe. get large, highly predatory, etc, etc.

cc will eat anything with meat...no good for snails or even fish which may "sleep" near substrate at night.
Never heard of a sargeant star
