Starfish Eating Pictures

my stars are decent saize around 5 1/2 to 6 inches and actually my choc. chip as you can see is the smallest..
and no i take the shrooms from my rreef tank for them

Nice starfish! I've never actually seen a starfish eat before-thats so awesome! How often do you feed them?

i feed them every 3 days along with my other fish.. sometimes i will skip a week depending on how much they are eating off of my liverock..

it does seem like mine are not hungry sometimes, do you think they are eating algae or pods....or both?

probably detrius on the rocks ... they are too slow to catch pods..mine NEVER refuse food, but your might be a little samaller or eat more off the rock..

yeah, maybe so. i always wonder if they eat algae. i fed mine monday, tuesday night his stomach was plastered all over the glass....just like he was eating. and there is a little algae on the glass. Who knows, oh well.

So do you hand feed them buy holding the food against the glass until they crawl up? or do you just drop it in the tank?
