Does sand sifting starfish eat corals like softies or frags?

I have never had such a starfish, but SWF sells them...look and see if they are reef safe.

I had one and never had a problem with it. I know it needs a lot of sand though to survive. At the time I had a 46 gallon and it starved in a few months. It was in the sand all the time and never bothered the coral. Not sure how great they work at cleaning the substrate though. Never made a huge difference in my old tank.

NO, they will not eat anything but what is in the sand....
ALSO...DO NOT GET ONE YET....They need a very established tank....and should also be kept in one that is larger with a deep sand bed too
