Starfish ID

Yesterday I found a young starfish in my tank that must have hitchhiked in and survived an iodine bath. Does anyone have an idea as to it's ID and if it's safe for soft corals and polyps.

It's just to the leftof center. A blue/gray color. About the size of a pinky nail. Sorry I couldn't get a better picture.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Asterina starfish. Common hitchhiker. There are a few types (rare) out there that do eat coral, but the large majority are completely safe. That being said, they reproduce quickly (split) and soon enough you'll see tons of them. This can become a nuisance in some peoples eyes (mine included) and they remove them. It's completely personal preference.
