yeah, sure. The small little astrina starfish that you usually get on good live rock.
I wouldn't suggest buying a larger starfish for such a small tank though.
you should be able to get micro brittle stars and astrina starfish on really good quality premium live rock. Not the $3/lb stuff but the nice $9 to $10/lb stuff.
Get the good stuff if you have a small tank.
What sort of fish?
How old is the tank?
What are your parameters?
There are some types of brittlestars you can keep...but I would not recommend a seastar, as mentioned, other than Asterina.

Im looking at 2 clownfish or a clownfish and gramma or a clownfish and a high fin red banded goby. FOWLR, Its not set up yet, im getting the rock tomorrow, I was just wondering what kind so I could research about them.
The one sold on this site as a "serpent starfish" in the genus Ophioderma is probably a reasonable choice. This stays on the smaller side, but it is important that parameters are kept really good.
the serpent IMO would be your best choice. they dont really stay out alot because of the light. they really come out more at night. i had one a few years back but then i bought a CBS and he got him right away. that was my fault for not really looking into the CBS and the serpent being together. but they are cool when they come out.. they really like to hold on to what ever they grab.

IMO, absolutely, positively not. I would say it is a sure bet to starve.
Is it because there is not enough live rock to graze on?
Yes, though often small, I would not even consider a Fromia in a tank under 100g with at least 100lbs of quality LR. IMO, even more difficult to keep long term than Linckia.
