Starfish in a Nano?

It is certainly the exception, by far the exception. Nonetheless I would love pics, tank specifications and anything you've noted about feeding.

ok, my son doesn't come up from california until february 3rd with the camera so i am out of luck till then for pictures. But I am running my tanke with a tunze skimmer, fluval 305(pretty powerful)for my tank size, a dual t5 light that I built for it, and my water conditions are all great except my nitrates exceed 140ppm. I am running a "regular tank" but I started to think the nitrates might have something to do with it(?).

Anything is possible...depends on speces and even an individual...but I would never recommend a Linckia in a 10g. While it may work in some cases, odds are not good overall, IMO. Not all 10g tanks are equivalent, and not all individual animals are either, so ya takes your chances.

You can keep alot of stars in smaller tanks, but make sure they get supplemental feedings and realize that like any starfish, you're rolling dice.
