Starfish/Mushrooms

Currently, I have a Bursa Trigger, Snowflake Eel, Regal Tang, Flame Angel, and a tiny spotted puffer in my tank. However, I was looking into adding a chocolate chip starfish and/or some mushrooms to my tank. Will they coexist? I've heard that the fish will peck of the parts of the starfish but it will live, and that its possible that they will ignore the mushrooms. Also, will I need any sort of special lighting or other accomodations to maintain these two types of inverts? Thanks in advance.

As Bang Guy indicated, puffers and triggers are both natural predators of seastars. you have relatively calm versions of these, but they all are, nonetheless, very inquisitive. And that is not generally good for seastars.
