StarFish Reef Safe?

I now have 2 sand starfish and my tank is semi reef mostly all soft corals a colt bunch of polyps and mushroom im going to get xenia maybe a torch some other soft corals soon and i was wondering what Starfish are reef safe?
i Have heard so many problems people have had with green bristle starfish so i just want to stay away from them.
Any sugestions?

Personally, I have owned a Green Brittle Starfish, It didn't bother my corals. Most people say this starfish is "not Reef-Safe" because it can become predatory to small fish / inverts. Normally if the GBS is well-fed he won't bother anything. Do you mean "Sand-Sifting Starfish?" Sand Sifting Starfish are Reef-Safe.

Yes i have 2 sand shifting star fish in my 140g tank somehwat of a nice clean up crew also bunch of snails and reef safe hermits. i also wanted to add a nice star fish one thats not in the sand all day.
A linka maybe?
general red starfish?
im looking for a reef safe starfish any suggestions?

If your water Perameters are pristine you could definately go for a Linckia. By the way does the Sand Star clean the sand well?

Ya the sand star cleans my sand quite well since ive gotten the 2 i havent had any algae in my sand or nitrate bubbles i recomend them
