Not all seastars eat corals. THis is not a concern with healthy corals and "reef safe" seastars.
Fromia, IMO, are not a good bet, regardless of small size. I really don't recommend them, though they are reef safe. It is possible their diet is even more specific than Linckia, and that is saying a lot.
My most comfortable recommendation would be Linckia multiflora which is probably the absolute best bet.
Following that, an orange Linckia.
Not a blue for sure.
IMO, you only can get one for this tank. These eat the same, rather limited stuff in our tanks. If you get two, more often than not, it will simply bring the end for both. Please only get one.
Also, I suggest bumping your specific gravity at 1.025-1.026. They are VERY sensitive to water parameters. You must pay very close attention to it.
Ideally the tank would be a full mature reef tank, no younger than 6 months minimum. Also note these need very long acclimations in many cases. They take up to a month to die of acclimation shock, and a year or so to die of starvation. "Success" should not be consider until you've kept them 18 months, with no signs of shrinking.
