starfish turned down my heater?

This morning when I woke up and did my daily routine I noticed that the tank temp was around 74. It has been consistently at 79-80 and was not sure why the drop?

when I look at the heater it was set to 74 (not what I had set it at) I have seen the starfish by the heater at times and I think he may have turned it down :notsure: has anybody else ever experienced this?
do you think he wanted the tank cooler?

ophiura? can this happen? he is a chocolate chip star? also how big of a piece of food can i give him when feeding?

My brittle star is so cool and helpful, He took out the trash and helped me wash my cat! lol
